D-CoC: Latest News and Updates!
In the "Digital Certificates" project group at NoBoMet, the European Coordination Group of Notified Bodies in Legal Metrology, the specification for the main part of the D-CoC has been published in mid-2024.
Together with the project group, we held an informative meeting in June 2024 to report on the current status of the project, answer questions and discuss it. All notified bodies for the Measuring Instruments Directive (MID) and the Non-Automatic Weighing Instruments Directive (NAWID) have been adressed accordingly.
On 26 September, we presented the current status of the PTB project group ‘Digital Certificates of Conformity’ virtually to user groups of the D-CoC in a second meeting. Over 50 colleagues and interested parties from manufacturers, market surveillance and certification bodies took part online.
Additionally to our first test run in June, this presentation was again met with huge interest. In order to further spread the news to a wider audience, the presentations are now available on PTB's YouTube channel (in English Language!).
