QI-Digital at the Accreditation Conference

Digitalization and sustainability will be the main topics at the Accreditation Conference (AKKKO) in September 2023. At this conference, QI-Digital projects will also be presented.

With contributions on the digital accreditation symbol, on digitalization in medicine and on the IT security of conformity assessment bodies, the focus of the AKKKO Accreditation Conference is clearly on digitalization. Among other things, the initial results of the pilot phase of the digital accreditation symbol of the German Accreditation Body (Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle – DAkkS) will be presented. The digital accreditation symbol will be issued in combination with the Digital Calibration Certificate (DCC) within the scope of QI-Digital by selected test laboratories such as the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM). Another topic at the seventh AKKKO will be AI in medicine, a topic which is being researched by the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB).

The accreditation capability of sustainability is the second main topic at this year’s AKKKO. This includes quality seals for the sustainable construction of buildings and accreditation in the field of wind energy. The AKKKO will take place at the Steigenberger Hotel Am Kanzleramt in Berlin from 11 to 12 September 2023. The first day of the conference offers the opportunity for dialogue and will conclude with an evening event. The second day will be more practical, with expert lectures, a panel discussion with high-ranking participants and forums on special subjects.

Further information including details about registering can be found on the website of DAkkS.
